Job Title: Safety Officer
Location: Kuwait
Salary: KD 220 to 275
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, audits, and training programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in the logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, laws, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and other safety management software
